Temple of Aphaia
The crown jewel of Aegina — a stunning example of ancient architecture set in a wooded landscape, with sweeping views of the island and the sea. Includes a small museum.
Agios Nektarios
Named after its founder, Saint Nektarios (†1920, canonized in 1961). His relics are kept here — thousands of pilgrims visit each year specifically for this church.
Paleochora
Aegina's own "Mystras" — for a thousand years the island's capital, built on a steep hill next to Agios Nektarios. A wonderful place to walk among ruined chapels.
Kolona Archaeological Site
Just a 5-minute walk from Aegina Town's harbor. Inhabited from prehistoric times through the classical period — extensive walls and foundations, with its own museum.

Agistri
The neighboring, green island — just 8 minutes by small ferry or Flying Dolphin from Aegina's harbor. Beautiful beaches, a great variety of food, ideal for a day trip.
Acropolis – Athens
The largest architectural complex left to us by Greek antiquity, with the New Acropolis Museum right next door.
Moni
An island of deer, goats, and peacocks. Small boats run from Perdika, May through September.
Around the island
The island's small size makes it easy to drive or ride around it in a single day. Rentals available through Blue Dolphin.

Boat trip, swimming & diving
A boat excursion departing at 11:00 from Aegina Town, returning around 17:00. Beautiful beaches, snorkeling, diving equipment available, barbecue included.

Cycling & horse riding
Great routes around Blue Dolphin. Horse riding available in Perdika, Elaionas, and near Agia Marina.
Walking & hiking
Paths toward Agia Marina, Mesagros, Mount Oros, and the valley of Elaionas with its centuries-old olive trees.
